As a first generation American, Christine was raised to value this nation’s freedoms and opportunities.Born to Vietnamese immigrants who fled the communist regime, and raised by a long line of military veterans, her conservative rearing was nourished by the appreciation for the liberties Americans are born with. Tran credits her parents’ personal accounts of escaping authoritarian rule to be the stem for her conservative activism.
